J+J's: Willow Camp Wedding

This was one for the books. It was unlike any wedding I’ve ever created before — the venue, the catering, the couple’s love, pumping (oh, motherhood), the ceremony — it was all unwritten. The details for this wedding were infinite, there was a lot to consider and a lot to plan and re-plan, but IT WAS ALL WORTH IT. No day is perfect, but this one was about as good as it gets. The photos say it all.

Catering: Gerard’s Paella

Venue: Willow Camp Estate & Gardens

Flowers: Farmgirl Flowers

All Hallow's Eve!

I LOVE Halloween, and any excuse to decorate and DIY a costume get me excited! I decorated our house with decorations I’ve had from past years, and I DIY-ed my costume of bubblegum to fit into Contrast’s theme of candy. It was a fun one — and even little Kenny dressed up as an 80’s workout woman. See the details.

Kenny & Sloane turn ONE!

How is it possible that my sweet babies are ONE year old? (Note: My sister and I both had baby girls one month apart, so only one of these sweet babies’ is actually mine, but I’d gladly take Sloane as mine ;) Time has flown by and while it has been everything everyone said — the craziest, hardest, yet most amazing thrill of a lifetime — I can’t believe it’s possible. We had a fun backyard party with friends and family to celebrate all of us surviving the first year. We crafted mini party hats for the babies and the mini ‘party animals’ (see giraffe below), indulged ourselves at the flower market and whipped up some arrangements, and of course made homemade (from a box) funfetti cakes with custom toppers. Complete with tacos, margaritas, and jarritos — it was perfect….until Ken threw up all the cake she had just woofed down, but we’ll all forget that part :)
